The binder for Part III contains a signed agreement; notes on completing the course; a list of compulsory samples which should depict your chosen theme. The selection of projects are worked from an inspirational source, which can be different for each project but still complementing the chosen theme. Placing crochet as part of a mixed media project continues the learning of new skills. See the illustrations shown of just some of the variety in size and inspirational source that students have submitted in the past.
Once again four bi-monthly newsletters are included in the price of Part III. You are requested to send in your idea for each submission prior to the practical work commencing. The area of in depth study covers 50% of the assessment marks. A supervised examination paper will be followed by an oral examination for which there is a fee. For those wanting only to continue with the practical aspects of crochet and not proceed with an in-depth study there is an optional scheme available.
On obtaining the necessary high standard in all areas a full certificate will be issued showing you have successfully completed Part III of the International Diploma in Crochet – “Mixed-Media”, or should you fruitfully complete scheme B a letter of achievement to that effect will be issued.
When all three full certificates have been obtained a student graduates with the Diploma showing the specialism taken.
