Calendar of Workshops held in Morecambe during 2010

Times for the day: the workshop begins at 10.00am and finishes at 4.00pm, with lunch from 12.00-1.00pm. Anyone wishing to attend these workshops please book in advance to make sure there are sufficient 'goodies' for the coffee and tea breaks. For lunch either bring your own packed lunch OR purchase a 'chip shop' special from our local 'chippie' where the fish is freshly cooked in vegetable fat (which is always fresh) whilst I am there. Cost - £37 with a £7 discount for Diploma Students.
Until 1st September 2010. £10 deposit secures your place.
Fabulous Fibre Fusion is working to make original and exciting pieces of felt, and also turning designer pieces of felt into exciting objects by combining it with complementary crochet skills. What you learn and experience on these weekends is invaluable for anyone who intends to extend either the felt or their crochet skills. It is also invaluable for anyone who would like to include felt as part a part of their International Diploma in crochet - Part III. The combination of crochet to felt does not stop there as the information can be transferred to other crafts. The two days have the added advantage of exploring combining crafts which is becoming more and more popular during 2009.
This fibre fusion of crochet with felt weekend is with myself and Chryssie Burgess, both experienced exponents of our craft, qualified teachers and both skilled in the field of helping people to feel good and have a better quality of life.
Do ask for particulars regarding the venue and should you require overnight accommodation we can advise you of places other people have recommended. When you send in your deposit just ask so a list can be included. Our aim is to give you a learning experience that is good fun as well as and creative.
The first weekend is 22nd and May 2010, with a second date in September, 2010

Wonderwool – 24th & 25th April 2010 – Builth Wells, Wales.
This 2-day event is held on the Royal Welsh Showground. Parking is free. I will be there with my own Crochet Design stall, eager to answer your questions on any aspect of crochet. A new DVD on Tunisian crochet will be available at the stall. Do come and make yourself known to me.

What you learn and experience on these weekends is invaluable for anyone who intends to complete the whole Diploma as the information can be transferred to all the other crafts involved in Part III. The two days have the added advantage of exploring another craft that is becoming more and more popular and which combines beautifully with crochet. *See 'link'.

We may be using separate rooms although if the numbers are not too large we would opt for the beautiful Silverdale room. For the first event in September the free form crochet day can spill over into the 12th along with those working crochet and felt together.
